Spare part commonization to eliminate critical spare

Die cart is a movement vehicle which using to transfer the Dies from on building to another building. it's a PLC controlled hydraulic operated machine. Pressure developed by Gear pump and DC motor. Due to continuous operation gear pump failure frequently.
This pump was consider as critical pare. because press line pumps not matching with this die cart pump coupling.  New coupling fabricated with common for Both die cart and press line pumps.Now we can use any pump to run the die cart While pump failure time.
By this project 2500INR saved for special pump service and Purchasing.MTTR also reduced from more than 5 hours to 45 mins.
